Retired but go run the lift in the fall and spring a couple days a week. Hunting season started for bow hunting, but haven’t been out yet as the wife just got a hip replaced two days ago. Been playing nurse.

The 33 has been in as late as Christmas. The 4 winns gets laid up if it gets cold beginning of November. In the winter I spend money on projects for it lol.

Pulled the boat lift yesterday. I had to cut down a red cedar so the canopy would clear, used a come a long to pull the lift a steep 8' bank. Chained the lift to a tree stump. Finished burning up the tree in the fire pit and put the tools away. Did it by myself and not sore this morning.

The bigger fish are starting to show up in better numbers. The bulk are off Jersey

Unfortunately, pulling the boat may sooner than later if this wind don't let up

Has not been a good fall for me
Canceled my annual late October OBX Drum trip due to flood tides.

Between work and wind, didn’t bother to put the boat back in the water for November. Have until 12/15 for things to calm down a bit.

Obviously, not as hardcore as I was 20 years ago….lol

I hear that. The plant has been flooded more than usual this time of year too and the salt line has rolled pretty far up stream due to it.

Dad's been out for a few years with the back now so we haven't made a run in a while. Boat is still in but getting him motivated to actually go to it, let alone use it has been a challenge. Went out a couple weeks ago just to run it and the bay was a mirror and that beat him bad enough he was out of it for a few days. Can't imagine he can take 4-6 offshore anymore. Sucks as I want to munch on some bass. I don't have the heart to go do it without him though.
