Drink water only, eat fresh fruit for snacks instead of junk food, eat lots of fish, chicken, lean beef. Dump white bread and eat whole wheat. Go easy on the salt, and foods that have a lot of salt. Dump the sugary cereal. Pay attention to food labels and avoid stuff with lots of fat. You’d be surprised how much fat is in everyday food. Get some exercise outdoors everyday.
I dropped almost 50 pounds doing that and it wasn’t a struggle at all. Been able to keep it off easily.

My friend has a heart condition so she had a diet designed to cut weight fast while being sedentary by her nutritionist and cardiologist... but it's not easy so to speak.

You basically do a straight vegetable cleanse until you drop ~10 lbs. Then incorporate back beans or a rice or fruit. Then at 20 lbs you can add back seafood and chicken. But no red meats or pork or anything like that. No sugar, nothing processed, gluten free.... Vegan substitutes for most things and eggs are always allowed. About the only thing you can drink is gin, vodka or wine. I'll tell you it drops quick... but that's mainly because you're starving yourself and don't enjoy anything you eat....

I did the 'Noom' diet for a while . . . lost about 20 pounds. Found them again, may have to go back on the diet.

I’ve yo-yo dieted over the past 10 years. Loose 20-25 pounds then put it back on over the course of a couple of years. Just started my diet for daughter #3 wedding this fall.

For me, remove carbs from my diet and the pounds just go away. Eat bacon/sausage and eggs for breakfast, skip lunch then eat meat and green vegetables for dinner.

Swapped beers for High Noon’s and White Claws. Living in a recreational State, swapped alcohol for herbal remedies and a shot of Maker’s or Jack here a there. Traded a bag of chips for a bag of fresh mixed vegetables.

In the end it’s a change of life style, not a diet.

All comes down to the fact very few people have the ability to commit to a lifestyle change. That's why most people eat the garbage or crash diet. And why about half of the country is considered obese. (+/- depending which metrics are used to classify it.)

And I'm not speaking from a moral high ground. I'm guilty too. But a hell of a lot better than most people my age as far as diet is concerned.... but still not great.

A good bud of mine mixed his beer with seltzer water 1:1. That alone dropped 15#. He loved his beer and that was one of his hacks

Swapping fish for beef/pork, cutting carbs was the other.

I know when I stop drinking beer, that alone is good for 15#.

Walking did help, even with my bum knee. Taking the dogs for a walk is 2 miles. That helps a lot. Going into January, going dry for the next few weeks myself

I’ve lost over 50 lbs by counting calories.
I set my goals on 5 lb increments …
You can download a free app then just add what you eat and try and stay under the calories allowed per day … There is no easy way …. One of these weight loss shots may help …

Diets don’t work long term. There are thousands and thousands of diets out there. If they worked there wouldn’t be a new one every week. It’s easy to lose 20 lbs with one of the thousand of diets out there, but you’ll gain it back as soon as you go off your diet. What you need to do is make lifestyle changes, both how and what you eat bul add a little mild to moderate exercise to your life.
Look into something called the Mediterranean diet. It isn’t a diet exactly as it is a eating lifestyle. Here’s a basic description of it -
The Mediterranean diet is a traditional eating style from countries around the Mediterranean Sea that emphasizes plant-based foods and healthy fats. It focuses on overall eating patterns instead of strict rules, and is popular in countries like Italy, Greece, Spain, and Turkey.
Red meat is limited in the Mediterranean diet but I do not limit my red meat intake. The thinking on red meat consumption has changed over the last few years. Red meat is actually quite healthy.
Anyway forget fad diets , they do not work

Funny how life works out sometimes .I @125kg could def stand to loose a few ( not that much ...Im 6'4" ) , now just before xmas on the 21/12 , I bought 4x 24 Stellas, 2 vodka and 2 blue saphire gins ....then I got the flue (still do ) and not only have I not touched a drop but I havnt eaten anything but chicken soup for two weeks . I know this aint the plan going forward but even tho Im still sick I and loving the almost total loss of my one pack .....even sleep better .
Last time I give up the beer ,dont usually drink much spirits ....no wine ...the weight fell off me so Im going to run with the teatotal and reduce meat intake .......and try to get my arse the right shape to hold up pants ......tapers the wrong way at the mo 😁
