    I have a 99 225 johnson, I have been having problems with high dc voltage while at crusing rpm's as high as 17 vdc. I have replaced the battery and the voltage reg/rec with no luck the dealer is scratching his head? still put's out 16-17 vdc at 4300 rpm and drops to about 15 vdc at 1000 rpm. any...

    too much voltage from reg/rec

    I have a pair of 1999 225hp carburated johnson's the port engine (counter rotating)all of a sudden began putting out 16.2 vdc when at crusing rev.s 4300. :confused: a impeller kit was installed for possible cooling problems but that did not fix it, new battery didn't help, regulator...
