    Newer Merc Model idle RPM changed ?

    I have a 2010 Bryant 210 With a 4.3L MPI. My manual says idle should be at 650. Mine idles at around 560... Is my Mercruiser Factory Service manual wrong? Curious as the where you got this info regarding post 2007 being 550 RPM idle? :o)

    Update. Tech just called. Said the scanner shows the ECM as dead... He said that a bad fuel pump will take down an ECM..... HUH? It had the same ECM both times it failed to start and the time it did start.

    But seriously... I have the spin on fuel filter over on the starboard side of the engine sort of in the lower left corner as you face aft at the front of the engine. And yes I put a new fuel filter on before I winterized here last year.
