    hi i got most of my gear case apart im down to the pinion, clutch dog, and fwd gear but my repair manual dosnt have directions on how to take the lower unit apart how do i get the clutch dog out and shaft??

    1975 Johnson 115 lower unit

    Hi i have a 1975 johnson 115 and my lower unit just went out i cant seem to find many parts for it and the ones i do find cost alot and i was wondering if i could use a lower end off of a 1978-1991 lower unit? what differant?? thank you
