    Tohatsu 40hp/50hp crank/boysun reeds

    I have been told that a 40hp Tohatsu cannot make a 50hp engine,bye changing the std reeds and the carb?the reason is that the crank is different in the 40hp motor.Is this true,or can a 40 be upgraded to exactly the same as a 50 with new reeds and carb?Who makes the carb in the two stroke none...

    yam/tohatsu 50hp

    Im starting to race thundercats and I want to now which engine is best suited for speed,any purchase imfo or tuning help will be great,is marina 40hp a rebadged yam and are all bits interchangable.any std goodies for speed is appreciated.
