    How do I set or check the timing? I changed the points cap and wires. I know I need new plugs, there where fouled out from wrong mix. she'll crank and, but it don't sound like it's fireing. chould it just be the bad plugs? ideas? :confused: whats the best plugs for me to get...

    oil mix, HELP! Evinrude 1963 75 hp. outboard.

    I think my evinrude starflite IV with selectric shift is an 1963. model 50931 serial 03651. 4000-5000 rpm. 75 hp. at 4500 rpm. V-4 stand up. my problem is, I think oil tipe. I can get it to idel good, but when i hit 1/4 throttel phut phut, die out, and fouled plugs. the people at mr o's keep...
