My 200efi offshore runs rough until 3000rpm then it runs great, I recently replaced the computer and was told that could have caused a timing problem, I am mechanically wise however, these EFI motors give me a run for my mone.
My question is how to time it, the timing is stamped on the flywheel...
I have a 1994 200hp EFI Offshore that I pre-mix, at idle I get a horrible amount of smoke (especially at start-up), what ratio should I be mixing it at, I also have a sluggish hole shot.....Maybe the same problem??????
I have a 220 Mercury Offshore EFI that will not Idle, I replaced the fuel lines and filters and added injector cleaner with no success, any ideas before I take it to the shop?
I have a 1996 200hp Merc Offshore, it is extremely rough at idle and misses sometimes while running, took a good bit of water from the seperator and from the engine, no more water showing up, but it is still not running correctly, Any Ideas?
