just done water pump service to my mariner 140hp international outboard and cant for life in me replace the lower end it only goes so far up, I am a tradesman but by no means an outboard tech or mechanic, please what do I need to twist or turn?
I recently bought mariner 140hp V6 2001 model, serial no 0T322230 all mercury parts under the top cowl, only top cowl promotes Mariner,I searched on line but cannot find any info on this model can anyone enlighten me please.
my outboard starts fine with hose pipe connected but when launched and started and engage gear it cuts out and will not start could this be a water pump problem.:confused:
