    another alarm question

    1994 Mercury 60 hr. 3 cyl, 2 stroke. Replaced the impeller for the water pump. Water comes out of the water pump discharge just fine. Oil is full. Put clam muff on and connected to hose, motor runs cool. Alarm sounds as soon as you turn on the key and stays on. One solid long tone. Can't figure...

    How to drop lower unit Mercury 60 hp (1994)

    I have a 1994 Mercury 60 hp that needs the impeller or water pump replaced. I have loosened all the nuts and bolts but it will not drop. I cannot figure out how to disconnect the shift linkage. This seems o be holding it up as the rear of the lower half ill drop slightly but the fornt will not...
