    1956 Johnson 15 - carb tweeking..

    Hello All,<br />I have a '56 Johnson 15. Just got it and cleaned the carb.. runs well, but I want to tweek the high speed and low speed jets. Any ideas? I have set them to:<br />3/4 of a turn open on the high speed jet, and 1.5 turns on the low speed jet.<br />How do I tune this? by ear...

    1956 Johnson 15 - Starting problem..

    I just got a very nice 1956 15 on ebay. She is clean and neat. All parts intact. When I try to start her al I get is an occasional backfire using starter fluid, and thats all. I checked the carb for large gunk and found none, but I'm not sure fuel is arriving. Spark is fine. A couple...
