a question in general i purchased a boat from a junk yard . with no title it has n.c. #'s.and a 89 sticker .i have the serial #of the boat any ideas where i can look for info on this boat or how do i get it in my name.

ok i replaced the impeller n housing put water muffs and it worked. 2 days later i started it for a brief min. without water. now it won,t pump i took the lower unit off and the impeller was spun off. any suggestions what to do.
can any one tell me the sequence of the order of tightin the head bolts, and the pounds per square inch. or a web sight that will tell me.thank you very very munch
hi all, to best of my knowledge my model # is, 856x8b and serial # is 2558, i also have#,s on the carbs the bottem 2 are we18-2a and top one is we18-1a any info on these #,s would be gratefull thank you. ps the carbs also have dates 12/87.
ok i have replaced the impeller n impeller housing .it pumped water out the exhaust an cooled the head . went back 2 days later now it wont pump no water out n the head is geting real hot. is there a thermostat is it under the little square housing on top of the head over the top spark plug...
with out first puttin water to it with the ear muffs it turns over fairly easy but if i turn the water on to it before starting it is hard to turn over : :confused:
ok on the lower unit theres a little shaft with a hole in it i asume a pin goes in it im not sure an above it theres like a L shaped rodd there these two are not touching any one think that is my problem now i notice if i pull the shaft with the hole in it up the prop spins freely by hand...
