Air guide wind up boat clock

So I ran across an old Airguide clock. It is a wind up clock marked 7 jewel and is vintage. It's housed in the same round casing the speedometers from the 60's were. It has chromed case and real glass domed lens. My question is...,what boat (year and make) might this have come from?

    Konig Berlin 36 Motor

I just picked up an older Konig Berlin 36 motor. I am trying to find out more about it. I am thinking it is a 1961 model but that's about all I have really nailed down with it. It is set up to be an alcohol burner and raced on mini hydros before the former owner had passed away. Does anyone have...

So.... I just got an older Mini Hydro to fix up. The design is somewhat of a mystery to me and I know some people out there will be right on this. I tried including a picture but it wont load. 1962 Buehler TurboCraft - RIP

It is so hard to get to the point with a great classic to say goodbye. I hate to say it but the old Buehler sat too long untended before I rescued it to be returned to life on the water. I imagine I am not the only one that has had to move on but still hard to do at times.:cold:

    Old Fabric Seat Restore

Before giving up on an old boat set of seats give it a shot cleaning them. My 1963 Hydroswift had been sitting in an empty field for I don't know how long. The seats were a velvet like material but GAMEY! Moss was literally growing out of the fabric. Dust covered it so thickly the seats looked...

    Old Boat Collection.....Unintended!

I started with my own boat project a little over a year ago. A very nice yet challenging 1963 Hydroswift I got out of a field! Almost done with it. In the process of completing my restore project I needed a trailer. Found a real nice heavy duty trailer but the owner made me take the 70's...

Re: 1969 Scott 60 hp Outboard Motor - Reviews? Thanks FR. The motor I found is in real good condition. Ran last summer and was switched out by its owner for a lower HP motor for trolling the lake. Was recently gone through by mechanic so should be decent starting off point. I was mostly...

    1963 HydroSwift Interior reworked

Well the interior is in and done for now. I was able to salvage the original seats and their fabric. I found a badge that had the ears knocked off and was able to repurpose it on the riders side dash. Hope it gives you some ideas. Almost on the water!

Making Domed lenses for instrument panel

Re: Making Domed lenses for instrument panel Pics from beginning, mold I used and final products. I didn't have any problem with cracking but I had to watch the heating stage closely because the plexiglass wanted to turn a milky color if I waited too long.

Making Domed lenses for instrument panel

I recently ran into a solution for a boat refurbishing project that had me stumped. I had a horribly worn instrument panel for my 1963 Hydroswift. I was able to find all the parts I needed and make a passable nice instrument panel containing a compass and a speedometer. I was stopped cold on...
