    200 water tube rotted

    Have to replace water tube on a 2001 200hp optimax. Can this be done by dropping LU and getting long extensions for sockets, or do i have to drop the mid section from the power head? Tom

    what is wrong with 1988 88spl

    The motor runs fine on muffs,but when i drop it in the water it will not run or idle unless at full throttle. motor was in shop two months ago to rebuld and replace carbs and was given a good bill of health. I just ran a compression check.<br />top left 120, top right 120, bottom left 120...

    1988 88 spl lower unit

    Can I use lower unit from a v4 motor if the shaft length is the same(20). Does the hp matter.
