    Engine ID

    Was trying to get more info on this engine. Doesnt come up as good # on parts sites. GM#14088548 come up as years 86-94, 2 bolt or 4 bolt main. Front pad #VO1166AB. Was curious if 2 or 4 bolt main and 1 piece or 2 piece rear main. Should be 1 piece.

    OMC to Merc swap in 1996 Sundowner 195

    Hi all need some help. Swapping from OMC 305 to 350 Merc. Engine, inner and outer and outdrive. Boat has a 8 pin harness and 350 Merc has a 9 pin. Do I need to change boat harness or engine harness? Or is there something else I need to do?

    Converting from OMC to Mercruiser

    I'm converting a 1993 Fourwinns 195 Sundowner from OMC to a complete Merc set up. When I get wiring harness to go from dash to engine plug will I have to modify dash end plugs or will they be compatible? Also will steering cable and shifter cable need to be changed? Thanks for any help.

    changing from omc to merc

    I have a 1993 four winns 195 sundowner, it had a 305 omc and outdrive in it. I bought the boat with no engine, transom mount or out drive. I would like to know if I can replace it with a complete merc set up. This would be a 350 merc. My main question is about the transom cut out, and bolt...
