    The 2007 penta 4.3 has a different bolt pattern for the timing cover than the 2009 donor 4.3 engine. Also the the harmonic balancer doesn’t fit and the drain hole on 1 side of the block has a 28mm metric thread hole.. Can anyone with some more knowledge on this let me know what year engines...

    Thank you for the reply! I read that in 2003 GM changed the 4.3 and was the introduction of multi-point fuel injection and also more balanced cam shaft. Does this matter? I just want to make sure I am getting the right motor to make life eaiser for swapping over..
