    1 wire or 3 wire alternator, AQ260 V8

    My Sierra 1 wire alternator just died last weekend. The new Sierra alternator (part # 18-5951) is a 3 wire unit. Where do I connect the two additional wires? Any thoughts appreciated! Chris

    AQ260 stalls at low RPM and tough to re-start when hot

    Starts really well when cold; runs great until I need to bring the RPM down (idle-1000, 180 degrees) for docking etc; tough to re-start after I shut down, or it stalls when hot (180 degrees). Any ideas? Very much appreciated. Chris

    blown fuse on ignition

    Just blew a fuse on the battery/12V terminal on my ignition. The blown fuse was 10A. I put a new fuse in and it seems to work fine, but I'm guessing there could be an underlying problem, or the fuse is either deffective or too small. Any Suggestions? Very much appreciated!

    Bosch Plugs on a Volvo Penta 5.7?

    New to this forum!!! Has anybody used Bosch Plugs on a Volvo Penta 5.7 (1980 AQ260)? I was thinking of using part # HR9BC+ with a 0.028 gap. Any suggestions/experince? Thanks Chris
