    1996 7.4L Battery cable question

    Repowering a 1996 26' Larson Cabrio that had a 1996 7.4L Volvo Penta DUO-Prop package with a 1998 7.4 Bravo 3 package. My question is that there was 2 positive battery cables run to the rear of each side of the motor. I didnt see the engine come out so I dont know what the second battery cable...

    Jump engine harness to supply 12v DC to boat key switch for testing

    Hello All, Does anyone know the best way to jump the engine harness to supply 12v DC to boat key switch for testing purposes? I have my Merc 454 MPI out of the boat right now and before it goes back in I wanted to make sure all my pumps etc are working. Thanks Pat

    Volvo side controls work with Mercruiser???

    Greetings, I am converting a 96 volvo 454 carb set up to a 98 merc 454 mpi set up. Can I use the same controls and cables or do I need to buy new controls and cables? It looks like the only difference is the ends of the cables... Any info would be appreciated Thanks
