    1) Does it matter if the thermosat is in or out? If i take it out, then i don't have to worry about any occuring overheating issues. 2) Should there be a steady stream of water coming out the coolant exhaust?

    Identifacation numbers - help!

    How do I identify my 50hp force without the identity plate (Its missing on the transom- should have been riveted on!). I need to get a bottom end seal kit, and i can't identify it! Help!

    have forward gear...now i don't...now i do...what the?

    I have a 1991 50 hp force. The forward shift will not work properly...., it will shift into gear (forward), then when u go back into neutral, it won't shift into forward. It acts like its in neutral (fast idle). Going into reverse works fine-no probs. There are no grinding noises or funny...
