    how hot should an engine get(9.9 HP force) assuming there is a constant flow of water (imperller is fine etc...)... and is there some type of thermometer I can get to attach to the cylinder head or something to make SURE I'm not overheating<br />thanks

    colling on 94 force 9.9

    hi, I just rebuilt the powerhead on a 9.9 force because I overheated the **** thing.. new heads, new rings etc... it was fun but I don't want to do it again.. my question is how hot should the cylinder heads feel and how hot is too hot and how can I make sure the cooling system is running...
