    Which tachometer for 1990 Force 50 hp (12 or 20 poles?)

    I have searched this forum and other postings around the internet and I am a little confuse as to which of these two tachometers will work with my 50 HP Force Outboard. I know older Forces use 20 poles but how older are we talking about here? Thanks
