    Neutral

    I have a 1969 Johnson 55 hp with hydro-electric <br />shift.When I use the earmuffs to test the engine I notice the prop is still moving while in neutral,and when I shift to reverse there is no change.What test can I do to see if the shifter is functioning.Many Thanks for the help ya'll have...

    I have a 1969 55 hp Johnson,I was wondering if someone knew what the two brass tubes are for,one on each side of the motor at the bottom in the front of the motor.They look like drain tubes,and look like a quarter inch hose goes on them.

    Very Dumb Me

    Stearing Cable

    Can anyone please tell me where I can find a drawing of how to re-do the stearing cable on a Glas-Tex boat.I am verrry new to boating and the cable pooped off the wirm gear.
