    question if i have inadvertently reversed up and down hydraulic lines on the trim pump after replacement, will the check valves stop the fluid from flowing? i installed a new unit and wired it up, motor runs but the outdrive will not move. could it need priming? thanks guys Steve 1990 2.3L omc cobra

    remote shifter removal

    I am redoing the vinyl in my 1990 170 Four Winns, I am trying to remove the remote shifter leaver to remove the side panel. i have the three screws out of the collar and all the screws in the panel are out. Anyone have a drawing OR know how to remove it? thanks Steve

    power trim swap

    i have a 1990 omc 2.3l the motor for the power trim went bad, cost to replace just motor alone was $400 there were lots of complete unites on ebay for much less so i got one of those. anyone see any issues with this swap? also, with the drive unit in the FULL UP position, see any reason for not...

    Good afternoon, 1990 omc cobra 2.3l When i push the thumb control to lower or raise the lower end unit, you can hear the (what sounds like a solenoid clicking inside the sealed box where the trip button is located,) but i am not sure. it worked briefly up and down then quit. thoughts? Also...
