    applying clear coat

    I have a 87 bayliner fish and ski and the finish is shot. I have tried the polishing compounds, waxes, buffer and everthing else and came to the conclusion that I have to apply clear coat. How do I go about doing this. Does it need to be sprayed or can I brush it on and then wet sand it...
