I have a 1987 OMC V-8, I over heated a week ago. I have changed the following parts, <br />Starter, cable to starter, cap, rotor, elec. Modulator, condenser, spark plugs.<br />I have sparks, compression, and fuel. What else is there????
I HAVE A 1987 BAYLINER WITH AN OMC V-8 ENGINE.<br />I OVERHEATED LAST NIGHT. I CHANGED THE IMPELER, T-STAT, AND STARTER. BATTERIES DIED ON TOP OF IT ALL. LONG STORY SHORT ENGINE WILL NOT START. CHECKED SPARK ON ALL 8, (NO PROBLEM) CHECKED PLUGS 7,8 FOR WATER(NONE FOUND). EVEN TRIED CARB CLEANER...
