    no its right with the bolts proud, again the sleeves are putting pressure only on the inner hub of the rear mount. So the rear of the engine is too low? Drop the front mounts and the coupler should come up in relation to the gimbal bearing, it kind of works inverse to how you may think.

    I enjoyed my 3.0 powered boat as well. With the right prop could do ok skiing and was cheap to operate and maintain. Now that the family is bigger the boat is as well. What year vette? My other ride is a 65 GTO, just waiting for the builder to finish a new engine for it.

    I would buy OEM as well my original bellows lasted 18 years why mess around with anything else You could by the OEM kit and get a greaseable bearing but if yours is quiet now why replace it until it gets noisy
