I have purchased a used 18 foot pontoon boat, with a 50 hp, 2 cyl Evinrude outboard. At full throttle and in turns, the prop cavitates. I have also noticed that the motor has been lowered on the transom, from it's original position, which I suspect was done in an attempt to correct this problem...
