I have a 2005 Crestliner 1850 sportfish with a 150 4 stroke Yamaha that currently is running an aluminum prop. The problem that I have is if I am pulling a tube and turn hard into a corner the prop seems to cavitate and I have to pull back on the throttle. Not sure if the aluminum blades are...
Have chattering noise when putting in reverse nothing in forward when in the lake but is not noticeble when tried out of the water with muffs on. Someone thought it may need a new reverse clutch dog. If so is it something the average mechanic can do at home.
