I have a 2003 Johnson J140PX4STS, 4 stroke . I had starting issues while on vacation. I have replace the starter and engine power cables which gets the engine started.
It now has a 2-2 check code blinking and is in failsafe mode. There is no longer an audible tone when the key is turned to on...
