Dumb Question - How do I know if I have points?

Hello all, I have a 2000 volvo 5.7GS (Carbed) motor on a FW 248 Vista. Do I have "points" that need to be checked? I'm not the most experienced, but trying to learn. As preventive maintenance I am replacing the rotor and distributor cap this weekend. Already changed plugs, all fluids, filters...
