I just bought a boat with a 2008 Volvo Penta 4.3 GL-J stern drive. It has developed a belt squeal that starts just above idle and also is over heating. It would seam that these two are related and have to do with the circulating pump or pulley. Just not sure how to pinpoint the problem...
