    Thanks for the information in previous threads I saw a Arco #5377 and a Prestolite 5712N listed as replacement starters, but since the replacement part was not listed for these I was leery. this is a winter project and while I can replace parts I do not have a wealth of knowledge on these motors.

    What is the proper replacement starter? I have seen the part number listed as a 0381865, but have seen a placement starter listed as a 381864?
