    150 1982 evinrude

    Engine runs ok. Very good compresson in all cyliders. Carbs have been taken apart and cleaned. Have not had a chance to put boat in water. However when running on the trailer i get a popping out od the exhaust. When running at 2800 on trailer. Still have some popping. What would cause this?

    1979 procraft 17.8. 150 evinrude. Jakeplate and engine set at 3" above bottom of hull. What prop size & pitch would render me the best speed at WOT and hole shot combonation? What is the standard prop size? Any help would be good.

    firing order color code on plug

    :Confused: I have a 1979 150 evinrude. I have the firing order. However on the plug comimg from the power pack the wires are color coded. Blue, Yellow and green. What cylinders do the colors represent. Going from top to bottom. Is it Blue Yellow Green? If not what order do they go? Starboard side.
