    1992 Johnson 60hp Shift Linkage

    I am changing the water pump impeller on my outboard and can't see how to disconnect the shift linkage. The shift rod is attached to the lever with a pin which is not very accessible. Does anyone know the trick to removing the pin? Thanks.
