    Recently purchased a boat with a 98 200hp. When I got it home, I noticed the plug for the oil tank sensor and pump was unplugged. Oil alarm went off when I connected it. What does the c clip on the rod of the tank sensor do??? <br /><br />More info... Pump runs when I connect 12V to it and...

    How Should Thermostats be Oriented???

    Ok, I have an 89 Johnson 90hp. I'm replacing both t-stats with new cork grommets and new gaskets. Is it possible to put the t-stats in the wrong way (wrong orientation). Should the spring end point in towards the motor or away from it. I can't remember how they were when I took it apart...
