Mercruiser has made a new head (8m0115134) for 3.0l. Modernized to work with new fuels , hardened valve seats, s/s valves, screw in rocker studs. Really cool!
HOWEVER, the screw in studs set the rockers higher than the oem head. This makes the pushrods too short(34532)
