I have a 1990 4.3V6 in a Cobalt. we were running it most of the day and the temp gauge was about 140. and running good. Stopped and took a break, got gas and then went back out, got into some weeds, and then it started overheating to about 230. shut it off, jumped in the water and all the weeds...
