    Under the water intake on the lower unit of my DP290A is a hole facing the front. I believe it is supposed to be there. Is that hole supposed to have a plug?     DP identification

    I have a 1988 Skip Jack 28' FB. It is powered by a AQ271C. I am having trouble identifying the outdrive. I've attached a picture. I believe it is a 280 or 290 but not sure. Any help would be appreciated.
