Good morning all,
Yesterday we went out for first time after a small remodel on our 17' open bow. When the motor is just idling there is no issue at all, but while underway there is white smoke coming out of the valve oil plug. The big plug to put oil into the motor.
Motor is a 120 hp older...
Yesterday we went out and the wires from the control for the trim started to melt when i use the trim underway. While not moving or in the trailer they worked fine but i had to cut them bec they were melting really bad.
Any ideas of what is going on. If i use the 3 button swith it works fine...

My first post in iboats. I have a simple question. Currently i have a 9.9 1984 Montgomery wards outboard engine. If i upgrade to a 1987 15hp Eska engine, would it make a big difference?
