    On my pontoon boat I have 1/2" plastic plugs at the bottom to drain any water from them. I need to replace them as one is cracked. I know I can't put stainless or galvanized one in there as it will react with the aluminum. Can I put either brass or bronze ones in without creating a problem...

    96 Johnson 48 Carb Settings

    What are the idle settings on a 96 Johnson 48? Also what is the proper idle RPM? Just bought the boat and it has been sitting for a couple years. Seems to run pretty good except for the fact that it does not like to idle. Any other ideas on what I should check, clean on the engine?? THANKS!
