    merc fuel pump woes

    I went through 3 fuel pumps last year and decided to try to convert it to electric. I know its not coast guard aproved, but I heard there is a way to hook the power up to the oil pump so that it shuts off when the engine dies. Has anyone done this? Anyone know of a legal way to convert it over?
