    Ok the wifes gonna kill me but I just purchased a 1962 Elgin in really nice shape. Other than they are hard to work on from what Ive read, any advice or pointers anyone can share. oil/gas ratio etc. never owned one but looks like it was a good find.:D

    Ok I bought new carb, new fuel pump diaphragm, and new impellor. Pump up primer ball and pull this sucker and it fires right up. Runs great, spraying good water, sounds good. Runs for 10 minutes and looses prime and dies. pump up primer ball and pull the cord and same thing. I wish it would run...
