    1979 merc 50

    Rebuilt carbs month ago and ran fine for two weeks. Now I have a good amount of oil coming out of exhaust and spark plugs are oily. Needles on carbs are out 1 turn. Double checked gas oil mixture. Rings? Motor runs decent even idles down nice until plugs fowl.

    1979 Merc 50

    I have a 1979 Merc 50 it has ran great for the last 4 seasons. End of last year things went down hill. The motor began to spit gas from the lower carb out of a 1/8" brass hole to the upper right of the choke butterfly. I decided that it was time to rebuild the carbs. I did and found alot of dirt...
