I have a 1963 Merc 60 Twin 6 hp that came with my old 1974 26 ft sailboat. It seems to run well and pushes the boat without any troubles. I'm a little concerned about the age of the motor. It was services in 2002-I don't know what was done, but the previous owner spent about $300 on the tune-up...
