    I may not need one .. Nothing to drastic curve wise . I’ll know when I go to dry fit .. This is Sapele .. Not really mahogany but looks real close to the Philippine. I purchased 5/4 so I’m gunna have to split it in half for the decking .. 99% of this will be painted .. Once the frame repair...

    Treated plywood on aluminum deck

    Have you taken the deck boards up to see if you have any corrosion forming where it makes contact with the treated ply ? Bare wood to bare aluminum might start at some point . If some sort of barrier in between the 2 then it may be ok . Idk . Certainly something to keep an eye on . New transom...

    Maybe silly but I thought this was kinda cool .. Under a plank at the transom I found this 1962 penny .. This boat was produced in 62 .. I think I’m gunna put it back where I found it on the rebuild for the heck of it ..
