    2002 Mercury 225 efi trim problem

    After sitting for a year my trim motor stopped working. I took it apart and the brush springs were rusted out. I replaced them and when I lifted the motor by hand lost some fluid. How do I fill and bleed the system? Motor runs but doesn't trim up or down.

    low water pickups, ???

    I have a 1979 Allison xst with a 79 merc 200hp. I been expeimenting with engine height and its taken my water pickups above the water line. I'm now at 3" below the pad. Anyone have any info, links, or any suggestions on what I can do to pick up water? Do I need to replace the foot or modify it...

    rectifier???

    I have a 1979 merc 200hp I tested the rectifier for resistance and found improper values. Would this cause this motor to just shut off and not fire anymore?I checked the stater and triger and ignition....all ok. Please help!!!

    merc 200 no fire

    I know theres not much i can do till my manual arrives but is there any advise for me on this problem---I put the boat in and fired it up normal, it idled for about 1 min then shut off...would not start back up. I bypassed the kill switch, the motor has two power packs and 6 coils so I dont...
