    yes the wire sender is on the block ground then the sender is 260F.... gauge you did it is correct ... the temp gun is outside the engine .....drops the temp metal outside.. I know the water flow parts are changed ...

    the water engine temp is 210F the temp sender in the engine .. then the temp gun is outside the metal engine 160F ..... I would be the 140-150F temp sender on the spec temperature ..

    I know the boat ICM is the semiconductors and the engine creates a high temp around the ICM ...then the engine runs down .the semi-connectors in today world is a lot of $$$..

    the boat wiring is a smaller gauge wire from the battery to the ignition key. typically 11.5DC on the dash voltmeter panel....then the engine starts and the voltage meter is around 14 DC..

    the bolts are a correct length and the shoulder bolt was solid along the starter motor case . did those bolts are a high torque ,,, look up the head bolt spec ?

    use the ohm meter to the gear shift switch ..take the wire off and test the ohms .. short/open .

    my boat had a high power in the water ... then the engine drops the lower power ... I cleaned the gas tank vent ...then it runs high power ! my driveway runs good but I had to clean that gas tank vent ...engine runs great in the water ..

    the module connector pins inspect it .. the spark plug put on the wire out of the engine and see if the spark is a bright color .. or the spark is a dull color or no spark ..put the spark plug on a clamp to the engine block ...

    I do not use acetone ....use metal ... do not use rubber parts ..looks like the impeller cracks spray on acetone damages it ...
