    My first inflatable was named "SS Sinkable". never had a leak some of the houseboats have I/O's and do not get pulled every year for the annual drive maintenance. that usually leads to the houseboat on the bottom.

    Depends. some dash wiring is from mercruiser. most are done by outside marine instrument panel shops. the wiring should be ABYC standard colors. I would look to see if any of the marine surplus stores have a dash, then all you have to do is a bit of wiring.

    Just measured the jeep bell housing, etc. exact same length as the LNF ecotec bell housing Can go bigger than a 142 tooth ring gear. The LS4 will take a GM small pilot bearing

    I will add, weather apps are only useful when there is cell service. cell phones do not work when you are 25+ miles off shore. having a radar on the boat is what is needed for that additionally, certain bodies of water ignore weather forecast. for example, deaths door in the bay of green bay...

    methacrylate...... glorified superglue. its the adhesives used to bond nearly everything together in the marine world. such as plexus, sika bond, etc. pull the gauge panel, work on the bench.

    Swapping motors and chassis is all easy. Just bolts and fabrication. The fact that an LS motor is shorter than the SBC makes it easy. Not sure how in this day and age anyone can charge that amount, however people have lost the ability to do their own wrenching

    southbay and the other forest river brands buy their gauge panel from the same source that feeds most of the pontoon market. start by calling their customer service line. beyond that, it should be a simple repair with a methacrylate of your choice.
