To be sure the fuel pump was pumping, I followed the fuel supply finally to the high point immediately before the carburetor. So I removed the fuel hose from the carb intake and turned the motor...

    When starting motor airlocks before the carburetor. After bleeding the fuel line before the carburetor, the motor starts and runs fine. Cannot find why the airlock develops.
