need starter for chrysler 70hp model 707hf availability

Sometimes the best bet is to rebuild your original starter.....take it apart and inspect the brushes/armature. Found these parts to rebuild mine on ebay....brushes $20, armature $25. The quality of the new starters is suspect as most are made in China. Or take it to an alternator/starter...

Hard to tell from the pics....is that a blind hole or does it go into the water passage? On another note, when mounting...

Motor oil in lower unit oil

Put some cheap Walmart lube in it....run it...drain it. Then put in your high dollar lube. No seal damage and no cross contamination from other fluids.

    Texas Raiders B-17, P-63

These air show re-enactments look like chaos from the ground, but are really highly choreographed.....the larger planes/bombers follow a certain pattern and altitude.....the smaller faster planes/fighters follow a different pattern at a different altitude....in theory they should not hit each...

    Texas Raiders B-17, P-63

Saw several videos from different angles......a terrible tragedy and the loss of 6 souls.....luckily no one on the ground was hurt/killed. Have seen that plane many times at airshows. A lot of history and aviation experience went up in a ball of flames.

The RV I mentioned above only had one original ground strap going from body to frame. I replaced it, and had thought about adding one or two more. Kinda glad I didn't now. (y)
